Scattered dreams

 Scattered dreams

In the realm where dreams are born, they take flight,

A tapestry of hopes, sparkling with delight,

But sometimes, alas, they wander astray,

Scattered, fragmented, in disarray.

Each dream a star in the midnight sky,

With infinite potential, soaring high,

Yet life's tempests, like a gusty wind,

Can scatter them far, leaving hearts chagrined.

The dream of a poet, to share heartfelt verse,

Now lies in fragments, a poetic curse,

Words lost in the abyss of forgotten thought,

A masterpiece uncreated, forever sought.

A dream of love, once tender and true,

Now scattered whispers, a love lost in lieu,

Promises broken, like shards on the ground,

Leaving emptiness, where passion once found.

The dream of an artist, to paint the sublime,

Colors now scattered, lost in the sands of time,

Brushstrokes unfinished, a masterpiece undone,

Leaving the canvas barren, devoid of sun.

Yet amidst the chaos, a flicker of hope,

A chance to gather fragments, no longer elope,

For scattered dreams hold untamed power,

To rebuild, reshape, in their darkest hour.

From the scattered debris, new visions arise,

Dreams entwined, reaching for the skies,

With determination and a resilient heart,

We gather the pieces, refusing to part.

In the tapestry woven from scattered dreams,

Beauty emerges, like sunlight's gleams,

For dreams, though scattered, are never in vain,

They ignite resilience, a soul's vibrant terrain.

So let us gather the fragments, one by one,

Stitch them together, till the task is done,

For scattered dreams can create a masterpiece,

A testament to the human spirit's release.
